dyeing the zip didn’t work – I think it must have been dylon cold water dye, which needs dye fix and I think doesn’t even work on nylon. Oh well, I’m off to buy a zip.
p.s. if you wondered where my blog had gone to my host was moving the database server – back now though :)

Yeah, nylon and all synthetics don’t take in dye as they’re not absorbent. (Textiles GCSE….)
Hoodie looks fabulous, BTW. Are you planning to write up the pattern?
