My guy is making these for me for New Year's Eve with black yarn and deep red ribbon. I can't wait to" wear them! These are fabulous! These are very "Ga Ga esque" and I'm sure no one will have these on where we are going. I would name these "Ga Ga opera gloves! Congrats for a fabulous idea!

Can someone send me a picture of this? I can't seem to get the photos to work through IE or Firefox and I really would love to see what they look like. My e-mail is hopelesslyabandoned2@gmail.com.
Thanks for help with this!

Check out a technique called "picot" edging. This technique is easy to understand once you get a visual!!

Just a question for you. In one of the rows you have: sl 1, k3, m 1, k to last 6sts, m 1 k2tog, k3. But if you follow the directions to m1 (make one) then you would have to knit 4, not 3. Any ideas?

hi i just have a couple questions:
can you please explain what you meant by “knit across picking up cast on sts and knittng them together with each stitch” ?
how would i reverse the thumb gusset for the left hand?
i'm fairly new to knitting but adore the gloves!
thank u..

I'm with the others about this step: "Knit across row picking up cast on sts and knitting them together with each st."

I can't find anything anywhere on how to do this...i'd need pictures or a small video on this step because i really really want to know how to do this and a description would just confuse me ><

It seems many people are confused about the picot bind off, but it's pretty simple:
When it says to pick up up the cast on edge all you're doing is folding the work in half LENGTHWISE. Fold over the cast on edge so it lines up with the stitches on your needle and knit them together.

If you have the DOMINITRIX book, there's a hat in there that uses the same technique.
