When I finally figured out how to hack wordpress in order to see more than the last 20 comments* I discovered that Kerrie won my little comments contest. My friend Sheena came to visit yesterday, and while teaching her to purl and knit in the round and follow a pattern so she can make her first hat I got round to making a prize.
Sheena has well and truly been bitten by the knitting bug. I had to tell her to put it down so she wouldn’t miss her bus this morning.
I have been knitting the most boring thing ever, studying and trying to get rid of my nasty nasty cold. Fun times.
*anyone who knows the code to actually make the button show up will make me very happy

Lovely stitchmarkers and lovely coloured hair Sheena has! Definitely a magenta theme going on…

Just have to say that i stumbled upon your webpage just a couple of days ago, read the entry of snow white hair, forgot where I’d read it but started to make my hair (which is thicker and longer) in a similar way and I think it looks great!! Today I realised it was your hairstyle, I’ve been using it almost every day now! Thank you!!
hi. send you your x-mas “postcard” last friday, hope it reaches you soon.
Awesome stitch markers!

I lurve Sheena’s hair too!
I love Sheena’s hair!
The stitch markers are super cute, too!
Oh wow – her hair matches her knitting!
Feel better soon, colds are horrible.
ooooh, your knitting disciple is so cute :)
She looks so much like Exene Cervenka, from the LA punk band “X” (one of my favorite bands!)
I also love the new margins on your blog!
xoxo
