Do you think it would work to NOT cut the stranded yarn in the back? I know some knitters *coughmecough* like to know that there is always some extra yarn that can be used at the very end if we run short, and the beginning swatches are usually that backup! :) This is a great post!

We have pumpkin in our roasties- cut lotsa hard type vege- carrot, potato, kumara, yam, pumpkin etc- into chunks about 2-3cm square. Toss in herbs, garlic, oil, whatever takes your fancy, and bake for about an hour at 180 celcius, stirring every 15 or so minutes. Yummy! Now I really have to get on and get some wool!
