Elijah’s rather intrigued by my current work in progress.

He can’t wait to make friends with this little pink bunny. Both designs are based on the same basic body, so they’ll go together rather well. Of course the details on the rabbit are a little different, I love the way that the decreases on the head come together at his nose

and this little fold on the big, floppy ear.

I need to buy some more stuffing before I can make the limbs, hence working on the ears first even though it feels strangely backwards.

Thought you might like to see the markers I made at the workshop I wrote about yesterday. Of course now I want to start something that involves markers.

Oh he’s wonderful! I love the way Bunny’s head is cocked to the side slightly, giving him a quizzical look. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of him.

How do you get your decreases to come out in that perfect ridge like that??!!!

I can’t wait to see the bunny finished. So cute!

I agree – the decreases are spot on!

Yipee – more stuffed toys :) Having starting knitting Elijah I’ve realised how much fun knitting toys actually is.

Horay, a rabbit too. I started making Elijah at the weekend and am completely in love! After years of making toys and seaming tiny parts it is a complete revelation! However I have managed to make one leg considerably smaller than the other one (I wasn’t concetrating and thought it looked odd but carried on knitting – doh!) I was thinking about other animals which would look good using the same general construction – a monkey came to mind, and a bear too, but I reckon you could make almost anything! Thanks for a fantastic pattern.

I can’t wait for the rabbit to be finished!

I am working on Elijah and just have one more ear to go. One question: On the ear, Rnd 21, Should it be K12 instead of K11? With 36 sts, it works out evenly if I k1, ssk, “k12″, k2tog, k1.
