What yarn did you use for the hoodie? It looks great. My very first sweater was an apocalypse hoodie, but it was in horrible acrylic and it also ended up way too bit. I'd love to make a new one with better materials.

Are you reworking the hoodie pattern? (I can't seem to find it at the moment.) I like the chunky-but-fitted-ness, the tree, the big zipper.

I've found myself changing my color palette much more than I thought I would. I started out purchasing very muted colors, browns, blacks, maybe one or two brighter colors, for my yarn stash. I've moved (perhaps through sock knitting, where one can "get away with" bright and sometimes clashing colors tucked safely under a pant leg) to some bright colors, contrast, and not just blues and browns, but greens, pinks, purples, oranges... now I think about color much more, as a sort of addition to or layer of texture.

Greens. Most of my knits tend to be green (I didn't notice until my sister pointed it out). I have started Snow white in Cascade 220 (Heather range) - in green of course!

I agree about colours; I myself have periods when i urge for e g blues/greens which is the case right now. I believe that since all colours have a different energy, we change our focus as our needs change - just like the seasons!

And how boring to always wear the same!

Looved your hoodie!

I too, am sincerely missing the lack of sunshine here in the northern hemisphere. I wake up - it's dark. I come home from work - it's dark. How's a girl supposed to take blog photos?

That hoodie is great. Love the bright binding!
