The pattern for Sophie aka Pink Bunny is now available in the shop.
Thank you to everyone who suggested names for her. I ended up giving the original to my cousin’s baby, and continued the trend I began with Elijah by naming the pattern after her.
I love this photo of me and the adorable bunny’s namesake.
This means that nobody won the contest but that sucks, so I randomly selected 5 comments and I’ve emailed a free copy of the pattern to Eva, Diane Southwick, Tijm, Amy and Emily. Check your inboxes :)

My head is stuffed full of strange associations, but this is why stuffed rabbits must be pink.
I think Sophie makes a wonderful companion for Elijah and I can’t wait to make them some more friends. So much fun!

I think just possibly the baby is cuter than the bunny. But it’s a tough call! ;)
They are delightful, and as for the baby…..!
You are killing me with Cuteness! Must. Shop. Now.
What a sweet little bunny!
She is very sweet, and your photography is wonderful.
Adorable! :) I’ll have to finish my 2nd Elijah for an upcoming birthday – then I may start out on Sophie. Toy knitting is such fun :)
That bunny is adorable, and the baby is even cuter!
And I love the idea of naming the bunny after the baby it was given to…
Wow, what a cute pattern and what an extremely cute baby!!
Um…adorable. All of it.
Smiles,
Erin
She’s beautiful! Of course a Woolen Rabbit must have a pink companion :-)
What an adorable baby..and bunny!
So precious! Sophie is just adorable–the photo of you two just makes me smile :)
I followed the link from pieknits…patterns like those terrific stuffed animals make me wish I could knit! I LOVE them!
What animals are you thinking of for future animals?
She is darling, and I think the name suits her perfectly!
They look very lovely together – just like you and the wee one
I so much love that last picture in which Sophie and Elijah seem to really communicate with each other!!! But you and Sophie is cute, too!
YAY! Sophie is here!
I bought the pattern so fast I think I made my head spin!

So freaking cute! I love her!
An expression from my childhood ( the 1970′s) comes to mind on seeing your new creation and your little cousin “Ever Cute!”.
Everyone is beyond cute. Thank you for the pattern. I Just got it. I was planning on making it for my Aunt for her birthday if it came out in time.. And it did. (B-day, Feb 13th) Thank you so much. Sophie, baby is just way adorable.
Hi Ysolda, you’ve got a made my day award on my blog!
I love the photo of Elijah and Sophie together. So sweet.
Sophie is an adorable baby! and the bunny’s cute too.
Both Sophie’s are utterly adorable! And the pattern comes just in time for some sweet Easter knitting…Have you ever considered making a stuffed lamb?
I can not believe how cute the two (Elijah & Sophie) of them are together! And I can not believe I have still resisted making Elijah. I have a new niece/nephew due in 6 months, so that will have to change.
oh my!! Ysolda, you are constantly outdoing yourself with every new pattern! :) this is just the cutest thing ever (besides Elijah, of course!)… *sigh* and I have quite a thing for bunnies, so I could perhaps be knitting this one at some point too!! :)
Thank you so much for sending me the pattern of Sohpie! I love this rabbit and the name is beautiful!
So awesome! I am sure this pattern is as great as Elijah. Sophie was one of the top 3 contenders for the name of my baby girl.
OOo que lindura es Sophie!!!

I love this photo of the two knitted animals… and I love the photo of you and the little one.
