A dress and a name

by ysolda on November 17, 2008

naked!

Someone’s waiting patiently for me to provide her with a dress and a name. The dress is the simple part (although stopping with just a dress rather than a whole wardrobe might be tricky) but the name’s proving harder – any ideas?

Oh and the progress bars in the sidebar? Those are a ravelry thing :)

If you wanted to go fairy tale, you could always try ‘Karen’ for the girl from ‘The Red Shoes’ (though she looks much nicer than that), or make her a little red cloak and call her little red riding hood?

Regardless, though, she’s lovely!

I say go for a whole wardrobe, I’d definetely buy doll pattern along with a complete wardrobe of patterns for her.

Since your name (by a different spelling) was used by Shakespeare, the name that Shakespeare made up/ adapted from the Gaelic Irish word for ‘girl’ seems to fit somehow.
