I like the name "Cairn." I think you should fix it so that you can list patterns under more than one category. Then people can see the set under the hats or the mitts category. I also think it would be nice to have an "ALL" category.

I'm waffling between Katrin's suggestion of Head, Hands, and Neck - it's different from the norm, but I think, all in all, individual categories would be best as I can't see your pattern design growing both in number and variety. Good luck.

Cairn is the perfect name!

As for seeing your patterns, I look at your patterns from your blog pages, as opposed to Ravelry. I have your blog on my RSS feed.

A category that works well for me is titled "Scarves, Hats & Mittens". That way when there are sets, they can all go in that category.

To seperate the different patterns would make it more clear in my opinion. When you want to make it more general speaking, why not choose something like: Head, Hands, and Neck? So you could out under Hands not only mittens but rings, bracelets too. You never know where creativity brings us up to. What do you think?

it may be a pain, but i think that more categories would be appropriate. especially, if you are planning to keep designing knitwear. we can all only hope that you never quit.

I think individual listings for categories - as I'm sure your collection will grow a lot more and I agree with debbie re people wanting to find the exact thing straight away. Love the name choice :-)

I think Cairn is really a great name. As for your question on categories I would suggest, like linda, to name it hats anand other accesories!
