Ysolda, one of the best things about you is that you were your own designs! Everytime I see a pic of a famous knitter, I look to see what they’re wearing and usually it’s NOT a hand-knitted garment! Keep up the good work… always looking forward to what you come up with next.

That dress is so great in your last photo – when I saw it on the rack I knew it had to be yours. I’m glad you found something to remember Madison by. I too had a great time with you during your visit. And I’m almost done with Liesl! I also got the yarn to make Elijah. Ah, your visit didn’t do anything to help decrease my stash…

Bike friendly cities are great. We’re hoping to begin doing more biking around here. There are trails everywhere. We just need to use them!

I’m so glad you liked Madison! It’s truly a great town. I love relaxing on the Union Terrace, although I usually drink cider rather than eat ice cream. :-)

I’ve been to that student union. (My best friend got her PhD in Madison.) It’s just a perfect spot–and the ice cream? Yum!!! Really, I liked Madison quite a lot.

I thought you meant Hartford, CT too! I’m so glad you had a great time in Madison…. I haven’t been in years but have only good memories of the city.
