Brooklyn General

I can’t believe I almost forgot to tell you, but I’m going to be at Brooklyn General on Sunday afternoon from 12-5. If you’re local it would be great to see you there! For everyone else, here are some pretty pictures from the last week to distract you from the fact that I’m too busy to write a proper post.

Yes – those are teeny, tiny versions of the grown up booties and garter stitch mitts! They were a gift from a wonderful knitter that I met last night at Knitty City – I love these so much, miniatures are just so very pleasing.

I feel in love with Brooklyn General when I first discovered it a couple of weeks ago. SUCH an amazing and inspiring store. I got the craziest fabric with psychedelic fawns on it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did…

I hope you enjoyed Pittsburgh! My ex boyfriend used to comment how the city has the strangest skyline…you’ll be driving down the highway and suddenly BAM there’s a city.

Oh, I have such a soft spot for Pittsburgh. I went to school there for a couple of years. The people there are wonderful! :)

Hello Ysolda, If ever you have time could you please write about ‘knitting for your frame and not bust size’ please. I have just been reading moomcalfmakes blog about your talk in NY. Wish I had been there.

Oh that baby alpaca is sooooo cute! Look at his wee nose! And such big eyes :)

Miniatures are pleasing, aren’t they. A knitting friend gave me some miniature mittens for Christmas and I was completely smitten.

Ysolda, cute as your patterns are – this baby alpaca is the most cutest thing I ever saw. May I have it? I promise to take good care of it! It might become bald from excessive cuddling, but otherwise it would live a princely life!

The miniatures are fabulous – I wish my fingers has the dexterity to get around those tiny corners!

It’s been so fun reading about your book tour and travels. Too bad you won’t make it out here to the west coast- maybe next time. I’ll just have to keep and eye out for your book. Love your designs.

I love vicariously traveling through your blog. The pics are great-lovely dress, great fabrics, teeny slippers and that alpaca is darling. Are the suitcases full yet, or are you shipping boxes back home? :-)

I agree that your red and white dress is gorgeous, and you’re looking lovely and happy in all your photos. :)
