I’m delighted to announce my new collection Whimsical Little Knits Book 2. Once again you can pre-order and receive a pdf of a new pattern in the collection every week. The final book will ship on or before November the 1st and you can choose just the digital version or both the printed and digital versions.
The first pattern in the new collection is Damson and it’s available right now.
Hope you like it!

hmm, that yarn looks familiar……and it makes a very nice shawlette too :)

This is fabulous, and I happen to have a skein of sock yarn that I was wondering what to do with. This will be perfect. Can’t wait to see what else you add to the book.
I love it! Can’t wait to check out all the other patterns in that collection!
another great shawl – you were knitting on a blue one when I saw you at Classic Elite Yarn in Lowell – are you putting that pattern in your book?
Yay! That’s so exciting! I loved the first book so much :)
Gorgeous!!
That is a gorgeous colour!
You are a fast worker, and you must be inspired all the time! All the better for impatient people like me…
Lucky you, book two! Yea! I will eagerly await the debut!
Just downloaded it and came to say thank you for the stitch count chart. I did something similar in Excel for my Ishbel and found it really helpful. Can’t wait to cast-on.
Exciting:) Can’t wait to see what other treasures will be in the WLK2:)
As usual, of attractive miracles at home congratulations for your creations so attractive

So happy! You write the best patterns! You made my weekend. Thanks.
Lovely! Can’t wait for the new book to come out but I have one question. Do you ever sleep??? You seem much too busy to do anything but cat nap.
Gorgeous Damson, congratulation, your designs are exquisite.
Oh that’s pretty. And I love what you’ve done with your hair.
As the song says, we’ve picked ourselves a plum, a “Damson”plum! You came along and everything started to hum. Now it’s a real good bet the best is yet to come.
Can’t hardly wait for the entire book. Thank you, thank you.
The pattern is really nice! And the yarn and color choice make it look even better! I think that it will be another of your popular patterns! Congratulations for the book!
happen to have a skein of malabrigo sock in eggplant…..thought about doing another Ishbel with beads, but may just have to go with Damson. Always a pleasure to support your great patterns! have WLK2 in my ravelry library right now! Great work!
WLK2! That’s so exciting. I can’t wait to see what other lovely patterns you have in store to share. I will certainly keep my eyes peeled.
Waw, congratulations on your new release. I only bought the first a month ago, I’m so excited to see what will be in this one. I already like this design a lot! Just my colour
Yay! I bought nearly all the patterns from your first book before they were all collected into one. I can’t wait to get a copy of your second. You never disappoint. But I want Damson now!
how exciting!! I can hardly WAIT! Oh hang on.. idon’t have to! I can get my mitts on Damson right now! Wheeee :D
That’s great news! When I first saw your posts title I thought “wow, she’s having a baby! Where’d she find the time for that?” But I see it’s a baby of a different kind.
I have queued mostly all of the patterns in WLK1 and will definitely look out for the complete 2nd booklet when it comes out. Congratulations.
I was just curious if you’ve an idea when the book might ship out? I’d love to order the digital + print, but may be in the process of moving. Or maybe there’s a way I could change my address later if necessary? I’d hate for it to get lost along the way!
oops, just re-read the post and saw the Nov 1 date. But any idea about the possibility of changing an address after ordering?
Yay, I’m looking forward to seeing more! It bodes well so far :)
I just shrieked at work! Goody! Can’t wait!
Love it, it is a fresh take on a shawl.
You look so beautiful on the pictures. Back from the US you it seems that you got kind of more adult. Like a magical blonde snow white. And the shawlette is great of course.
Greetings from Germany,
Maria

I just finished Ishbel (my first lace project). It was fun for me, but challenging. My husband’s glad I’m finished-now he can speak again. Little does he know that I just downloaded Damson and ordered the yarn. He’ll have a little respite. So glad you included the row counts in the pattern. Gorgeous patterns. Thank you.
Unfortunately I’m having a problem with Damson. Don’t know if it’s the heat getting to me, but when I got to row 2 (trouble already for me) patterns said I should end up with 13 stitches and I have 12. Started with 9 from row 1 and added three yo’s. This adds up to 12. What’s wrong? Help!!!
