The snip-snip sound of scissors can be very satisfying because it means that a project gets that bit closer to completion. Great feeling! And if you ever end up with too little fabric because of a mistake in cutting, then when not piece that last piece together from smaller pieces (of the same fabric), as if making a quilt? If you make it look as if it was 'meant' to be that way, then it'll be gorgeous and no-one will know any better! Go on, cut that fabric! Perfect for the chair at the sewing table! I made chair cushions for the ikea folding chairs that are the dining room/everything chairs that i own. i sewed them by hand since I didn't have my machine at the time but they made a huge difference to me in the way i felt in my tiny apt. and they are a quick and easy project. a good way to get motivated!
