Way back at the June TNNA I taped a segment for Knitting Daily TV. We taped it in my booth so you’ll get to see a little of that, and it was so much fun to chat to Eunny Jang about my work. I also demonstrated a couple of techniques I love and the pattern that we used as an example is now available as a free download. Enjoy!
Here’s the preview for the episode, click here for information on how to purchase the show if you missed it or didn’t have access to it (I’m in episode 10 of season 6).

What an adorable hat, and you look like a glamourous movie star (from the 20′s or 30′s) wearing it — such a pretty photo!
Wow! That is FABULOUS! Thanks so much for sharing it. And Gigi’s right – you *do* look like a movie star. But then you usually do. And we like you anyway. :)
Absolutely gorgeous design.
Love it.
The moment I saw that hat, I went into what I can only imagine was a dissociative fugue state. When I regained my senses, I had downloaded and printed the pattern and had just purchased yarn to make it! I can’t wait to start knitting!
Absolutely lovely hat – I’ve just downloaded the pattern
All right – there is no other word but ADORABLE for that hat. ( The beautiful colors! The fabulous red coat!) Only one other hat exceeds it in charm, and that’s the one worn by the dachshund in your previous post.
I love a cute cloche! As soon as I saw the picture appear in your Flickr stream, I downloaded the pattern and bought the yarn. I can’t wait to start knitting it. It’s gorgeous!
Love! This is such a perfect hat, and I love the photos of you wearing it!
Really lovely hat and gorgeous photos! Thank you for the pattern – can’t wait to knit it up!
Wow, I saw these photos on you Flickr stream a few days ago and almost fell of my chair-this hat is BEAUTIFUL! And so are you! :)
The hat is absolutely charming, and looks wonderful on you!
Thanks for sharing this pattern. What a lovely retro style, looks amazing on you with your red coat !
The yarn just arrived–I can start knitting! Thanks again for the lovely pattern!
Love the blue and red combo. It’s gorgeous!
The hat is beautiful! I fell in love with it at first sight, and knew I had to make one for myself. Unfortunately, when I tried to download the pattern, this prompt appeared: “An error occurred while downloading this file. The file is damaged and cannot be repaired.” I tried downloading the file 6 or 7 times. Can something be done to fix this?
Ysolda, that is absolutely beautiful and you look very glamourous wearing it. I have downloaded the pattern and am off to search for just the right yarn. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Ooh I need this hat! The back is just as beautiful as the front.
Ditto Gigi and Paula. It’s a really pretty hat! And thanks for the free download.

So beautiful, i love it !
Thank you very much for the pattern !
I was drawn to your gorgeous photo on your blog and then by the great color combo (I love red and turquoise together). Was thrilled to find the pattern available- and free! So I went stash diving and knitted it up in a violet-blue colorway with a contrast navy brim and trim. A very enjoyable and quick knit; loved the 3-stitch i-cord start and the very beautiful lacy crown. I will post photos on Ravelry soon. Thank you so very much!
That hat is beautiful! Really stunning. Now I wonder if it will suit me? Hmm, maybe I’ll make it anyway, and just gaze at it.
Thanks so much for sharing. You rock!
Love the hat!
I also love the lipstick!! What color and brand, if you will share, pretty please!
Wouah! The picture in black background are very beautiful! I love the hat!
