Nathaniel will bring a little woodland whimsy to your home. He’s fun to knit, although he’s made of 2 flat silhouettes with a garter stitch strip between them he’s knit seamlessly in the rnd. Nathaniel is just the right size to be a cozy, functional cushion that also looks wonderful propped on a bed or chair when you’re not squashing him.

Both written and charted directions are included.

Materials

220yds / 200m bulky weight yarn.

Shown in O-wool Legacy Bulky (100% organic wool, 106 yds / 97m, 3.53oz /100g) in Russet.

Size 10 US / 6 mm 24”/ 60cm circ and dpns.

Stuffing, I stuffed him with wool fibre which is pleasingly heavy and warms with your body, but you could use any toy stuffing.

Gauge

12 sts and 20 rnds = 4” / 10cm in st st

Size

Size approx 18” tall and 12” across.
