shoe destash

A few notes – I’ve tried to be fair in the pricing of these, but if you think something is unreasonably expensive feel free to make a different offer. Buyer pays shipping – happy to ship anywhere but obviously to the UK will be the cheapest. I’ve tried to give as much detail as possible about the condition and fit of these but let me know if you have any questions. These are shoes though, so if they don’t fit you I’d really rather that you found someone else to sell them on to than returned them to me. If you want to buy something please email or tweet me – first come first served. I’ll send you a paypal invoice once we’ve worked out the shipping details :)

Noa Noa Buttoned heels – Size 39 EU – £100 – barely worn – reserved

Yes, these are the shoes from the Veyla photoshoot, and yes I get regularly emails asking where they’re from but I’ve never worn them out of the house. They deserve better, but I’ve just never come up with an event for them – they might make wonderful wedding shoes though if that’s something you’re looking for.

The colour is really hard to describe or photograph acurately but the leather part is a very pale dusky grey / lilac and the suede part reminds me of kid gloves – beautiful and vintage looking. The heels are comfortable and easy to walk in at a little over 2″

Fluevog Fellowship Kathy – size 8 US – £80- pretty well worn

These are reasonably worn but they’re adorable and have a lot of life left in them. Since I haven’t worn them in forever maybe you can give them another chance.

Issues

- there are a couple of points on the right shoe where the decorative stitching has come loose, a Fluevog employee assured me that this is an easy fix for a cobbler

- insole is a bit marked

- there are some light scuff marks on the toes and backs of the heels and the rubber heel caps are fairly worn down. However, I’ll throw in a pair of brand new heel caps so that you can have them replaced when they’re a little more worn.

Camper Twins – size 39 EU – £60 – barely worn – reserved

I love these SO MUCH, but alas I’ve only worn them a couple of times and have to reluctantly admit that they aren’t the right shape for my feet at all. But, if you don’t have my super narrow heel + wider toes problem then they’ll probably work well for you. Please have fun with them for me!

Re-mix Dara – size 8 US - £70 – barely worn

These would be a great casual but still vintage looking sumer shoe, alas the toe part just isn’t in the right place on my feet.

I think though that unless you frequently have problems with sandles cutting into your pinkie toe because it’s relatively far back on your foot that you’ll be fine (ie. these aren’t the only shoes I’ve had this issue with). No real marks, just a little bit of creasing.

Carvela (Kurt Geiger) – teal suede heels with black details – size 38.5 EU – £45 – lightly worn – reserved

Super pretty, well balanced and easy to walk in as dressier heels go. Heels are about 2.5″. They have a button fastening (sensing a theme to my purchases?) with a little elastic so they’re pretty comfortable. This is a pretty unusual Euro size and fits me really well in stockings – I’d say it’s a UK 5.5 / US 7.5 The suede doesn’t look brand new and absolutely perfect but doesn’t have any really obvious marks either.

Fly London- buttoned crossover heels – olivey brown with cream trim – size 39 EU – £40 – barely worn – reserved

Now I’ve decided to sell these I’m having a really hard time coming up with any reasons for not wearing them, honestly I think it’s just that I have other shoes I love more that fill a similar place in my wardrobe *cough* fluevogs *cough*. They’re cute and comfortable though and the sligthly unusal colour combination actually goes well with a lot of things – I really like it with red.

They have a velcro fastening, which is fun in a childish sort of way!

Josef Seibel Yarrow Sandal – hibiscus - size 38 EU – £30 - never worn

I bought these because I have a pair of closed toe sandals from the same brand that are truly my comfiest shoes, but it turns out that I never have an occasion to wear these cute red, more open sandals. Maybe you do – if so, they’re crazy comfortable and pretty cute for such good walking shoes.

Clarks – ankle strap cut out flats – 5.5 UK – £20 – never worn – reserved

I fell really hard for these sweet shoes, so hard that I forgot that I’ve NEVER been able to wear Clarks shoes. Listen to your mothers people! They’re just too straight a shape for my feet – heels too wide and toes too narrow, but loads of people find them really comfortable so hopefully these will work well for someone else.

Joseph Larose - vintage – US 7 AA – £60 – barely worn

These are absolutly beautiful and in great condition with a fascinating history *but* they’re really narrow, even for vintage shoes. The widest part of the sole, measured on the bottom, is about 2 7/8″. I’m hoping to find someone who can wear these, but if not I won’t be too sad to keep them on display as they have been.

Yoma – turquoise ankle strap wedges with flowers – 38 EU – £45 – never worn- reserved

These were an impulse buy that I’ve never worn, but they’re really cute. Slight wedge heels measure 1.5″ I love how crafty the cut out flowers, pinked edge and stitching looks. They also have those nifty hooks so you can set the buckle at the right size and then quickly hook and unhook it.

Buttoned Knee Highs – 39 EU – £60 – reasonably worn – reserved

Anthropologie had these a couple of years ago but they sold out before I could justify buying and paying shipping on something described as a European import. Still, they haunted me, and I couldn’t resist when I stumbled across the UK company that makes them. I wore them a lot the first winter I had them but not so much last, they just don’t seem to fit into my wardrobe quite so well anymore and although they’re comfortable I prefer a boot with a chunkier, sturdier sole in the winter. They are fleece lined though so they’re pretty cosy. They have side zips and a little elastic gusset near the top. They’re slightly long on me, so if you’re a true US 8 / UK 6 they should be fine. My calves are 15.5″ and these are snug, I definitely can’t zip them over jeans for example so you probably don’t want them if yours are any larger than that.

Issues – a little scuffing and creasing and one toe is a wee bit dented.
