Hopeful is done

'hopeful' knit top
actually it has been for a while but I’ve been having problems uploading pictures.

'hopeful' knit top
If anyone is interested I can stick directions for my modifications (the beads and leaves) up. I have to leftover balls of the yarn that I can’t return unless the receipt magically appears - any ideas for them?

Beautifully knitted and I love the colour. Two balls left, what about a Branching Out? Mind you, I don’t know what yardage your yarn is, so that might not be an option. There’s always gloves or a beaded bag to match. Whatever, I’m sure you’ll find a good use for it.

hi - just linked through from knitty.com - love Arisaig - what a great design. I plan to have one of my own very soon. Your Hopeful is VERY nice - fantastic color and the beads are a great touch!

Hello,

I’m struggling through the lace pattern for your knitty pattern,
would it be possible to publish a line by line spell out for it?

Thank you.
Jing

Hi! I’m anxious to make a stab at arisaig, and I would also love to have your modifications for hopeful. I live in the US, but I just got back from a trip to Scotland. Edinburgh was definitely my favorite, but the Isle of Skye was great too, absolutely gorgeous. You live in a wonderful country!

Love it!!
you might try knitting a pair of fingerless gloves with your leftovers. Many free patterns for mitts online. I bet they would look stunning with any leftover beads too!

terrific pattern posted to Knitty!
Thanks for the inspiration!

I’d definitely like the Hopeful modifications; I like the leaf endings. I was thinking dove grey - or black with black beads, like jet - pencil skirt, heels. Or jeans, ha.
So yes please if you’re up for writing it up.

Gorgeous modifications.
Will you post it to the knitalong blog or would you like me to do it for you?

I’d alos love to see the modifications - just started knitting & having trouble finding knitting paterns that aren’t too granny or 80’s - any suggestions on where to find funky paterns would be appreciated
