drool

skeletal forms; amazingly beautiful, creative knitting I’ve been trying to de-construct since I saw it; sexy crafty model (creator of the shocker mittens) - just go look
and Becky - the yarn is probably from Jamiesons of Shetland (they’re called something like that anyway). I inherited it from my grandfather without tags or anything [...]

definitely a monster

haha. I’m about to felt it. Cross your fingers. I think I’ll be ordering googly eyes but here’s hoping it doesn’t come to that.

misshapen blob from the deep

or my cute new cloche?
we’ll see. I think I need to find a 5mm circular needle though. These are weird extra long dpns I found. There are 144 stitches in the round and while I normally like dpns for something this big they’re really too clumsy. I probably have a 5mm circular somewhere. I [...]

mini me won

well I assume she did, look

knitting and milton

wee… somehow (I’m a bad influence) our study group on Paradise Lost today turned into a knitting group.
I taught Ella to knit and she’s know working on a scarf - look how excited she got about her first few perfect rows:

Sara brought some crazy, but gorgeous ribbon yarn along and started a drop stitch scarf. [...]

the tiniest ysolda in the world

so I should probably have done something more constructive with my weekend but I found myself knitting a tiny kittyville hat. And then I couldn’t not make a doll to wear it and enter the craftster create your twin challenge. Voting hasn’t started yet but when it does you better vote for me. Hmm competitive [...]
