off air
this last week has been kind of busy and weird. The matilda jane pattern is done but tomorrow I’m going to Thailand (weee!) so just in case there are any problems or issues I don’t want to put it up and then dissapear. Consequently I’ll be back with the pattern in a fortnight or so. [...]

rather flattering I guess
the first 9 matches that came up for me on myheritage.com were
Rachel Weisz, Jennifer Connelly, Kirsten Dunst, Mena Suvari, Christina Ricci, Cameron Diaz, Heather Graham, Judy Garland, Winona Ryder.
I suppose I should mention that the tenth was Gael Garcia Beral. Hmm…
Cat’s right it is addictive. I wonder if uploading another pic will [...]

pattern writing anxiety
I wish it were possible to write a pattern that would fit absoultely everybody perfectly. It’s not, but I’m still pretty anxious about the Matilda Jane sizing. So much so that this evening I’ve found myself beginning to knit another one. I’ll probably at least knit the body of this one to the waist before [...]

So I’d like to introduce [...]

weee!
nothing went too horribly wrong.
My cones of sock yarn came today, so I’m going to spend the day dyeing it and tonight working on the Matilda Jane pattern. Which I’m guessing nobody wants as an excel spreadsheet full of stitch numbers. Haha, I’ll make it a bit more user friendly - but this method is [...]

crossing fingers and toes
craftster’s down again, eep. And nasty 404 errors are coming up, that can’t be good.
In knitting news - I finished a sock and I’m almost done with the back of Rosa. I dyed even more yarn, some laceweight wool. Now I want to knit a shawl - but what the hell would I do [...]
