flickr groups
the knitalong blog is coming along, but it’s not ready yet.
I have, however created a bunch of flickr groups. The ones for each pattern are intended to be used to post finished object pics in. The knitalong group can be used for in progress shots, intended yarn, etc. The super amazing thing is that these groups will become galleries integrated into the new blog, and if you join the knitalong you will be able to directly load your photos from flickr into a post when writing it. I’m not especially familiar with flickr though so if anyone wants to point out something I’ve missed or should have done or something go ahead. I thought this was the best way to create integrated galleries in the new blog while still letting people who haven’t joined the knitalong post photos of their finished objects.
Anyway, on with the linkage:

Has a very good list of all the knitalongs hapening around the world, and it will get more exposure for your knitalongs also!

Great idea. It has inspired me to finish the last sleeve of Arisaig, which has been languishing away in a bag since I discovered that my guage had gotten looser since I started the sweater. I may have to rip but the one that’s posted on the flickr site looks so damn good i know it’ll be worth it.
