Finishing Stripy

I’m being good today, I wove in ends,

I sewed on buttons,

I picked up stitches (with smiley happy needles),

I made buttonholes,

I buttoned up the cuffs,

dressed the model (just because),

and then I gave stripy a bath!

stripes are cool! this jumper would also translate well into a children’s pattern, apart from cool stripes the buttons make it so much easier to accommodate growing heads (which regularly causes mummy-i-am-stuck-panic here)!

I love how the stripes accentuate one’s hourglass shape. Your dressmaker’s dummy looks sexy!

That’s a great way with stripes - I like them but don’t usually wear them. I’ll have to try something like this. The joys of knitting in the round, right? One row stripes….

Oooo - I love it! I hadn’t been reading blogs for a little while, so I missed the progress on this one. It’s super cute and looks like something I think I might want to knit! Hmmmm…
