it’s going to be such a good day

I’ve had this weird craving to make lots of something for a while, hence the etsy shop I think, and over the last few days I’ve gotten started. I’m having so much fun cutting stamps and stamping fabrics and stitching away. I finished these two little pouches last night, neither is perfect, but I have high hopes for the third one which I’m just about to get to.

The zip was a bit out of line with the first one - but you can only tell when it’s open and it works perfectly. The second one I fixed that problem, but sewed the lining fabric too close to the zip so its a bit sticky. I think I can avoid both problems now. I hope.

I’ve got my super cool sewing machine out, it likes tiny showcase and giraffes :)

I’ve eaten toast and honey and drunk coffee from my princess cup.

I’ve got more fabric hanging from the end of my little bed.

I’m wearing my cutesy petticoat that seems perfect for a stitching day.

I think I’m ready to get to work, and in the evening I have a party to go to. I hope you have a good day lined up too.

Yes I do mostly live in my own little world. I like it most especially, though yesterday while venturing out into the big bad world I randomly met a knitter which was fun.

Cute pouches! I hate zippers, so the fact that you got it after two tries is impressive!

One of the first things I tried making when I was younger was a pencil case in which I tried to attach a zipper using the wrong foot on the sewing machine!! Keep up the good work.

I love the fabric you made. Is is all stamped? Matches the wallpaper on your site - or is it the wallpaper? Very inspiring.

I love your stamped fabrics. That’s one of the projects I would love to try.

I have the same bed as you and Jacqueline. I got mine for free, and I love it. :D

Indiana? that’s so not Indiana. It’s Rhode Island, the little tiny state in the us of a. I know this because I live there. ^^ (Showcase, if anyone doesn’t know, is the name of the movie theatres. They’re a giant chain though, so you probably do.)
I really would love to know where you got that sticker. ^^
and I think i’m going to try eraser-cut-stamps. :D
