Silent poetry reading
I read about this on both Anna and Bekki’s blogs. A poem that needs to be read visually seems appropriate.

I love the idea of a vast web of poetry spinning out so do let me know if you post one.

Posted today with a verse by Pablo Neruda. Unfortunately something is always lost in the translation, but it still comes off rather beautiful.

I haven’t seen that poem in years - I loved it as a child! I’ve posted too and it does seem that the web of poetry stretches far and wide this year! Such a huge mixture of poetry out there its really cool to see what everyone has chosen

That’s so great, I recognized it as soon as I saw it, and how nice it was for you to scan it in so that it looks exactly as it does in the book.
:) Great choice

Have I missed the opportunity to be a test knitter for your lovely Snow White sweater? I would love to participate if it’s not too late! I’m a size 32-34 in.
Ta!

Ooh that brings back memories. Many years ago (before you were born I think) I was in a “rock musical” version of Alice and played the part of the mouse. I sang this poem while the other “creatures” did a dance to illustrate the tale/tail. Ahh, happy days.
