Shopping cart

I’ve spent most of today playing with code and now I have a little shopping cart. It isn’t especially pretty yet, but it seems to be functional. Of course if you try and make a purchase and encounter any problems let me know.

This was partly a way of getting round paying two sets of fees (paypal and payloadz) while still having the pattern download links emailed automatically. I’ve also got lots of plans of things to add - both new patterns and maybe some real objects too. So it seemed like a cart was a good idea, even if it’s a bit pointless with only two patterns. That will change soon though :)

The thing I really love about my shop is that there ARE no e-mails with download links. You create an account and then your downloads are housed within your account. there are no lost download link e-mails, no downloads stuck in firewalls, etc…

Letting go of the payloadz fee but still having the auto-emailed downloads sounds appealing. What cart are you using?

I love the cart http://www.chicknits.com is using. Does anyone know how to do that effect?
