22!
Does the fact that I’m now a graduate and in my twenties (20+21 don’t count) mean that I’m supposed to grow up? Let’s hope not.
There have been lots of positive changes, many of them related to this blog, in my life in the last year and I’m certainly looking forward to finding out what 22 will bring. Even if it’s one of the numbers I hate the most. The hatred is completely irrational, something to do with the total lack of oddness, so maybe experience will make me like it more. Right now I’m off to meet up with some friends for a birthday drink, or two!

required to grow up? at 22? LOLOLOL oh NO WAY
i’m older than dirt - and i’m not grown up yet -so don’t worry
OH - do have an etsy.com store? You should open one to sell your patterns. i think you know about i, it an online market for artsy craftsy folks to sell their wares. and your patterns are great and you would probably make some nice money selling them on etsy - there are something like 30,000 users now
(my shop is brooklynhandmade - at etsy.com)
anyway - Many happy returns and congrats on your graduation as well!!

I am weeping tears of joy at the sight of your cake. I’m lost in happy fantasy imagining what that stuff in the middle could be:
- whipped cream with crushed raspberries folded in
- mascarpone cream with crushed raspberries folded in
- creme anglaise with crushed raspberries folded in
- buttercream with crushed raspberries folded in
- whipped icing with crushed……
well, you get the idea.
Many, many happy returns of the day Ysolda.

Happy, happy birthday! I am 26 in a month - it just sounds so grown up that I feel a bit lost. 25 worked for me - maybe I will have my second 25th birthday instead.
Scrummy cake, by the way - Ysolda-made, or did someone else treat you…?

Many Happy Returns!
I’m recently 23 and a graduate, and I’m all up in the air. I know I’ll come down to earth at some point, but for now the suspension of reality is here. Have a great 22nd year dude!

Happy Birthday. I love reading your blog - your designs are awesome.
BTW, 22 is the perfect age. You’re not too old to be too responsible for your actions but old enough to be taken seriously. If I could pick one age to be again, it would be 22.

Happy Birthday! I’m glad that snow white and other patterns are developing and coming along nicely. Plus, you don’t have to grow up quite yet when your 22. I’m only a couple years older and don’t really feel like it. I just happen to do “grown up” things and be responsible.
That cake looks so yummy.

Happy, happy birthday. Twenty-two is a great age, I got married at that age and 29 years later I still feel the same happy zest for life and I think that is why I love reading your blog. Never let go of the girl inside yourself because she will stand you in good stead wherever life takes you!

Happy Birthday :) You don’t ever have to “grow up”. Be yourself, and do what makes you happy :) Growing up happens by accident I think ;)
