You might have read my first post about it, or you might just have noticed that I’ve been posting more frequently recently, but I’ve successfully completed the NaBloPoMo challenge to post every day in November. To be honest, it hasn’t been too difficult thinking of things to say, the real struggle has been in getting around to writing them up. I think this has highlighted my biggest issue with blogging: I’ll happily think up a post as I go about my day but more often than not I won’t get around to it and three days later when I actually go to write a post it won’t quite so relevant. I do feel like I’ve finally gotten into a blogging routine, the especially observant might notice that most of my posts have been written about the same time (it’s 10.59pm right now and that’s become pretty typical) except for those that I wrote before going out for the evening. Now that the actual challenge is over I’m not going to be too obsessive about the everyday blogging, because it can certainly sometimes get in the way, but I think I’d like to keep it a part of my day to day routine. I do hope you’ve enjoyed reading my posts as much as I’ve enjoyed all of your comments.

While reviewing my posts for the month, and paranoidly double checking that I had indeed posted every. single. day. I discovered that I posted Elijah’s adventure on the 8th of November. So, since several of you asked, lets extend the contest deadline to the 8th of December. I know that the 30th was suggested, but I’m going to be away then and I’d rather wrap it up before xmas anyway. Remember that to enter you need to upload your Elijah photo (or photos) to the contest flickr group. There are already some fun adventures up there, but I’d love to see more. If you don’t already have a flickr account it’s simple to set up and free.

Thank you to everyone who has already emailed me their mailing address for holiday cards. I’ve been unusually organised and set up a nice little spreadsheet to make sure that everybody gets their card, but I haven’t yet gotten back to everyone with my address. Don’t worry though, I’m planning on spending time tomorrow catching up on my correspondence. If you’d like to swap cards with me do let me know and since a few people have asked, or been far too apologetic about giving me an international address, that’s not a problem at all. So far my list includes 10 different countries, the most exotic of which is probably Sudan, and I’m looking forward to all of these different postmarks and stamps arriving.
