Trial and Error
I did end up running out of yarn on the red beret, but it was also pretty big, so I ripped it out and scaled the stitch pattern down.
This time I had lots of yarn leftover, but I think I was a little over enthusiastic in my scaling down.
It’s kind of cute, but [...]

Snowy
I’ve been meaning to take photos of someone with a figure that suits the shaping in the pattern wearing Snow White for a while. Today I finally got around to that. I also thought it might be nice to show how the neckline look with something under it - I really like the [...]

Rosy
Yesterday evening I met up with some City Knitty friends for a last visit to my lys. I certainly wasn’t planning on buying anything, but it’s round the corner so I went to say hello. Jeanette had unearthed some Lana Grossa sample balls that I hadn’t seen before and so I came home with [...]

Grr!
Paypal seems to be having some issues today, which is causing problems with the pattern shop. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, but it seems to have been getting worse gradually so if you bought a pattern today and haven’t received the pdf file let me know and I’ll sort that out for you :) [...]

Until the Ravelry shop is fully functioning and available to non-ravelrers the shop on my site will remain as it is.
You also now have a third [...]

Struan
The pattern for the hat I made my brother for Christmas is now available in the shop. Enjoy!
I made another so that I could work out all the pattern details (I made the first in a rush on Christmas eve). It tried to eat my head! The ribbing ends up folded in half [...]

More veggies in baking
Chocolate cake with beetroot. We used a recipe from a fairtrade booklet, but it’s the same as this. I subbed cocoa powder + sugar for the drinking chocolate and used a mixture of white flour, wholemeal spelt flour and ground almonds instead of just flour. The recipe we used was for a 7″ cake [...]

Sunny intervals
Yarn - naturally dyed Blue Faced Leicester sock yarn in ‘Winter Sun’ from the Natural Dye Studio.
Design - something I started ages ago and always meant to go back to.
