Interview with Emily Johnson of The Family Trunk Project
One of my favourite things about a new Knitty is going through the patterns and discovering the websites of new designers. When the latest, Spring, issue came out one designer really stood out for me. Not necessarily because her design was superior to the others, although I do love her style, but because this design [...]

Rose Red
Just a quick post to say that the pattern for Rose Red is up :)
Now I’m off to eat a super fast dinner before heading to Glasgow to see Buck 65. Hope you have something fun to do today too!

Done!
After a solid 6 hours of proofreading over and over again I’m finally happy with the Coraline pattern. It’s up in the store now. Thank you so much for your patience while I’ve been perfecting this. And now I’ll try very hard to patiently wait for you to make it, I’m really looking forward to [...]

This is either a strange fluke or me turning over a new leaf in terms of efficiency but Verity is done and available in the shop. Enjoy! I can’t wait to see cute spring hats popping up.

Mother’s day in the botanics
Today was mother’s day here and, appropriately, I went to the botanics with my mum. Although there was some sunshine we got a little chilly eating sandwiches outside. When hot drinks failed to warm us up and the rain started we decided not to continue our walk along the water of Leith but took [...]
