Things I love

P5241633.JPG

A bowlful of colour for dinner full of goodies from the farmers’ market.

P5241627.JPG

Including cheese made from milk from a goat named Violet.

P5241642.JPG

An evening, or two, with a stack of movies from the greatest video store in the world. Seriously I adore that place, I should take pictures to show you sometime.

While watching - finally re-visiting this design, in Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Cotton, which I am loving so far.

While blogging and calculating and likely also for breakfast - rhubarb, apple and raspberry crumble with Lebanese yoghurt.

I loved that Posie design when you first posted about it last year. I do hope you bring it out as an adult design because it is seriously cute!

I didn’t realise there was a branch of that video shop in Edinburgh, my dad loves the one in St Andrews. Veggies look yummy.

Yeah, I’m interested about what you thought of Tales From Earthsea as well. I was highly disappointed with it, but I loved the books before that movie came out. It doesn’t follow the books at all and events new characters and introduces love interests that didn’t exist.

I’d say if you don’t like the film after you see it, you should try the books instead. They are so much better!

I’m dying to try that skinny cotton! I loved the Tales of Earthsea books, but not so much the movie, though I was sort of addicted to Marie Antoinette, for costume reasons.

Another deliciously satisfying post! (The rhubarb from our garden is softening up in some sugar for the crumble I’m making for dessert tonight right now!) and I LOVE Posie!

Hmmm those veggies look wonderful. I love simple, colourful delicious food like that. And the crumble looks scrumptious too, even it does contain rhubard - something I’ve just not managed to acquire the taste for.

City of Lost Children is one of my all-time faves. I was tempted to knit a striped pullover and call it Miette…

Alphabet rocks! Admittedly I haven’t been to the Edinburgh one, but the St Andrews one is totally amazing!

Hi *waves* from up the coast….
