Whimsical little knits
Most everything I’m working on is part of something bigger, but I took some knitting time out over the weekend to knit up some fun little things.
Grown-up Booties - Artesano Aran in Sunset
Icing Swirl Hat - Misti Alpaca Chunky in Lipstick
Garter Stitch Mitts - Manos Silk Blend in Virgo
I have something sweet planned for these, but rest assured that the patterns for the first two will be available soon.

You’re into a “red phase” in this moment or what? But don’t worry the red suits you so well!
You knit and create new design so fast! Ho brilliant Ysolda!

The slippers are really cute. Very simple and stylish.
I have been thinking of knitting those garter st mittens for a while, with yarn leftover from my Urchin… I’ll just have to do some gauge-calculations…
Oh - and how is the cherry shawl coming along? I have been eyeing it all summer…

Love the hat, might have some handspun for that, but not in the luscious red.

I love the hat! And the bootees look so snug and comfy; them + me + wine + sofa is a daydream made in heaven!
One question: How fast do you knit?!!!!

Lovely accessories. Especially that hat.
There’s something very satisfying about little things which can be finished quickly, especially when in the middle of something longer and more complicated.

I was in the shop over the Bank Holiday weekend with a friend and we were so taken with the slippers on the counter that we both bought some wool with the intention to have a ‘knit-off’ - looking forward to seeing the pattern!
