k - knit
p - purl
st(s) - stitch, stitches
rep - repeat
rnd - round
pm - place marker
slm - slip marker
sl1 - slip 1 stitch (all stitches are slipped purlwise with yarn in back unless otherwise stated)
k2tog - knit 2 together (a right slanting decrease)
ssk - slip, slip, knit - slip 2 sts individually knitwise, insert left needle tip into sts from left to right, k together (a left slanting decrease)
p2tog - purl 2 together
p2togtbl - purl 2 together through the back loops - slip 2 sts individually knitwise, then return to left needle tip, p together through the back loops
kfb - knit in front and back of next st
pfb - purl in front and back of next st
m1r - make one right - pick up the strand between the needles from the back and place on the left needle tip, knit through the front loop
m1l - make one left - pick up the strand between the needles from the front and place on the left needle tip, knit it through the back loop
m1p - make one purl - pick up the strand between the needles from the front and purl through the back loop
yo - yarn over
rs - right side of work is facing you
ws - wrong side of work is facing you
dpn - double pointed needles
circ - circular needle
