Beginner Classes at Knit 1 Edinburgh

I will be teaching a beginner knitting course at K1 in Edinburgh. We will be making my Urchin pattern and whether you are an absolute beginner or have knitted before this is a great project to get to grips with some fun new techniques. The course consists of two classes on Sunday afternoon. The course fee is £10 plus materials purchased at K1 Yarns (there is such a wide choice of materials available that we felt it was best to let you choose your favorite).

Knitting Clinic 

Struggling with a project? Trying to learn something new? Want to move on to a more interesting project but to scared to try?

The knitting surgery is now open! Come to K1 lunchtime on Mondays and we will sort out all of your knitting worries. Alongside the K1  staff I am holding a series of knitting clinics on Mondays from 12 - 2 pm.

How does it work?

Every week we will be featuring a special mini class to focus on a particular technique, but feel free to come along for help and advice on your current projects.

Just bring your knitting along and for a small £2 fee you will get a mini class of 15-20 min, just short enough to fit into your lunch break, and you will return to work with a richer knowledge of knitting and the confidence to tackle that pair of cabled socks that you have always wanted to knit!

Monday 14 April: Fix those mistakes. Bring a mistake of any kind and learn how to make it all better.
