and just to keep track a truly crappy picture of Rosa’s progress, I’m about 10 rows before the sleeve hole shaping. A doll needle has become my new best friend – threading about 1000 beads onto the yarn was relatively painless and fast.
it might be completly obvious but I have a new resolution – I’m endeavouring to blog at least most days. I have a feeling it will make me do more – just to have something to post every day.
The Wardie cardigan is worked in pieces from the bottom up. When the front and back are complete they're joined at the shoulders and then the sleeves are worked from stitches picked up around the armhole.
If you're interested in knitting Wardie but aren't sure about the finishing here's how the shoulders and sleeve go together.
