Making a dreich November cozier

By finally stitching in the elastic that means I can wear wooly knee socks* without them ending up around my ankles,

pairing them with the snuggly apocalypse hoodie that I’ve been wearing constantly since I finished it on Saturday (the aforementioned dreichness has so far prevented any decent photos being taken of this),


drinking big mugs of tea and eating cake,


and making what I can only call a nest in my studio.


*Do you remember the Snow White Stockings – this is what became of them. More on why they didn’t make it above the knees later.
