It’s important to me that my patterns remain affordable but for a whole bunch of different reasons I’ve concluded that it’s now necessary to raise the prices on individual patterns. This will bring them more into line with our wholesale pricing, although this is subject to fluctuating exchange rates, it’s important to me that there is not an advantage to purchasing a pattern directly versus in one of the many wonderful yarn stores carrying my work. I just noticed that I originally uploaded patterns to the Ravelry store on Valentine’s day 3 years ago, and since that’s one week from today it makes sense to put the price increase into effect then. That gives you a chance to purchase anything you’ve been eyeing at the current price, although I hope that you’ll find the new pricing remains reasonable. Now I just have to come up with something a little sweeter to give you as well, wish I could send you all chocolate!
For now here’s another picture of Cleo, resident pup at A Verb for Keeping Warm. I really need to tell you about my wonderful visit there, but for now you can read about my adventures on their blog – including how I ended up atop a giant pile of oyster shells.
