My thoughts are too occupied by the US election and what it might mean for the world to write a proper post today. Nor do I want to get overly political, but I’m sure it will come as no suprise to most of you to hear that I’m very pleased with the result. I’m feeling optimistic about world politics in a way I haven’t for a very long time, not only because of the result but because it came about because so many people got involved and to me that is the truly wonderful thing. So thank you to all of my American friends for showing the rest of the world that.
I’ll be back tomorrow with some knitting.
