Tricot dans les alpes

P2205321A little collection of Ysolda hats, the photo didn’t turn out very well but we’re wearing Struan, Rose Red and Cairn.

P2205332

It’s a little unfortunate that I ended up loving skiing so much (parallel turns – yay!), I’d been planning on spending a lot less time on the slopes and a lot more time working! I’ll just have to make up for it next week (need to finish up the Whimsy stuff) but I did manage to squeeze a little knitting in around the skiing. This is the yarn I dyed last week at Lilith’swonderful studio – which I took photos of, but apparently I deleted them in my excitement to free up space on the camera for pictures of mountains – there’s a tiny possibility that they’re on my other computer but I doubt it. You’re probably just going to have to take my word for it that it was a great day. I wanted to dye something like the greeny grey I love so much, something like the background colour of the blog and I think it turned out well. The best part is that we dyed more than this and we took notes so Lilith now has an ‘Ysolda’ colourway. As for what I’m knitting? Sorry, but there’s a reason it’s blurry!
