Bleideag

A yoked pullover I designed as a collaboration with my studio manager Bex. Her vision was to combine more affordable Létt Lopi as the main colour of a sweater and use Einrúm for the yoke, really highlighting its beauty. The loose fit and drapey gauge were based on a sweater she’d already made for herself. Bleideag is worked from the bottom up in the round. The sleeves and body are joined at the underarm and the yoke is also worked in the round, with decreases subtly incorporated into the colourwork.
