The position will be part-time and will run through December, with the possibility of extending it further. You will be based at our Edinburgh studio and warehouse, which are over two floors of the same building (with lift access between). The role requires physical work including gathering products for orders, moving products between the two locations and reaching high shelves using a stepladder.

Social distancing measures are in place, we are a small team and you will usually be working with one other team member.

  • gathering and packing orders
  • assembling yarn packs and kits
  • stock counts and keeping track of inventory
  • receiving and unpacking deliveries
Desired qualities:
  • extremely detail orientated, well organised and good at matching random numbers (that last one might sound strange but we have a wide range of inventory and picking orders requires carefully matching colour numbers)
  • experience with Shopify would be a bonus but full training will be provided
  • good technical skills including familiarity with Mac OS, excel
  • an interest in yarn and crafting is a bonus but not a requirement
