100% British wool
From a farm that dates back to Tudor Times Little Grey Sheep work with fibre from small family farms and their own Stein fine wool and Gotland fleeces to produce this lofty British Yarn. Once blocked it is silky to the touch with a slight bloom. The fibre is washed and spun in Yorkshire and the yarn is hand dyed on the farm by Emma.
For the colourway Emma was inspired by the dawn light she encounters in the lambing shed, dyeing over a grey base perfectly captures the sun’s warmth gradually filling the sky. Cables worked on a garter stitch base worked at a relatively loose gauge make the most of the yarn’s lofty texture. Whether you’re out early in the lambing shed, or commuting to an office this cosy cowl will keep you warm on dark winter mornings.
