Garthenor No 2

Breed specific organic British wool from Garthenor. No 2 yarns are labelled as 4ply but are closer to a standard sportweight, between 4 ply and dk.

Yardage varies by breed, see table below for details.

5.25 sts = 1" on US 3, 3.25 mm needles.

The Caru pattern uses one 50g ball for a pair of mitts. The Llawenydd shawl from Knitworthy 5 uses 3 skeins of Pebble

  • Care

    Soak your finished project in lukewarm water with a gentle, no rinse wool wash. Leave for several minutes until the yarn is fully saturated. Scoop the project out and roll in towels to gently squeeze out extra moisture. Dry flat, shaping while wet.
