6 sts = 1" on US 6, 4mm needles.

60% kid mohair, 40% silk

The softest kid mohair covers a silk core to create a wispy and light laceweight yarn. Though it is laceweight, the yarn knits comfortably on larger needles or acts as the perfect accent when held together with a heavier yarn. We love it combined with Studio Sock.

Subtle color variations are achieved through kettle dyeing. Each skein is unique. For consistent results, alternate between two skeins.

Neighborhood Fiber Co. began in the kitchen of a basement apartment in the LeDroit Park neighbourhood of Washington, DC. Karida Collins set out to provide the world with hand-dyed yarns inspired by and named to reflect the natural beauty and diverse neighbourhoods of the US capital
