Ysolda fell in love with this gorgeous moody DK yarn from Harrisville when she first saw it at Rhinebeck last year.
100g and 228 metres per skein.

18-22 sts = 1" on US 4-7, 3.5mm-4.5mm needles.
cormo and other wool breeds
Ten delicate shades of black, created for every mood and marbled with a dusting of color. This 3-ply American cormo and wool combine to form a light and airy DK weight yarn that is soft and distinct.
The yarn is described as a DK but having worked with it I'd consider it a bit closer to a Worsted weight. The loftiness created by the woollen spun structure means that it can be worked at a wide range of gauges.
Grown in Montana, Scoured in Texas, Dyed in Philadelphia, and Spun in New Hampshire.
100 gram skein (3.5 oz.), approx. 250 yards
All the yarn is black, blended with the following colours. Harrisville have also launched a design collection of sweaters and accessories by Whitney Hayward which are available as individual pattern pdfs.
