Yarn

Double knitting weight yarn with a suggested gauge of 5.5 sts per inch / 2.5 cm, this fitted style requires a yarn with some elasticity such as wool, wool blends or a reasonably stretchy blend of synthetic and plant fibres. The leaf motifs require good stitch definition from something smoothly spun and not too fuzzy.

The yarn requirements shown below are based on the average body and sleeve lengths shown. For a perfect fit I recommend adjusting these lengths to fit your own measurements, every 1” of length on the body will affect the yarn required by 3%.

Amanda’s version is worked in O-wool Legacy DK (100% organic wool, 152 yds / 139 m, 1.76oz / 50g) in Gambodge.

Ysolda’s version is worked in Manos Del Uruguay Silk Blend (30% silk, 70% merino, 150 yds / 137 m, 1.76oz / 50g) in Pewter (3064).
