Knitting in Iceland – Knitting in the Wild North Retreat
31 August – 6 September 2010
This amazing retreat takes place in part at Hveravellir, a geothermal area in the Icelandic highlands where participants will be able to lounge in warm natural pools, hike and enjoy the scenery.  Workshops include lopi knitting, traditional Icelandic sweaters, Icelandic intarsia, drop spindle spinning, and I’ll be teaching advanced sweater shaping.  You can find out more about the tour on the Knitting Iceland website or be emailing tours@knittingiceland.com
