A top down, shallow triangular shawl with centre increases worked into a simple cable and twisted rib panel. The cable pattern fans out to become the beginning of a lace edging that blocks into attractive points. The top edge is bordered with knit one, purl one rib and the increases are worked as mirrored make ones for a clean look. Stitch counts are included for every row and the charted stitch patterns are intuitive to follow and easy to use markers with.
The stitch patterns in Dovana are only charted. I went back and forth on including written directions and I know some people do prefer them but I find that the most frequent struggles with patterns like this are when people get lost in the written directions — the charts here really do show how things line up and make it easier to read your knitting and see whether any thing has gotten out of sync.
