Every knitter needs a collection of tried and true basic patterns: the ones you can reliably turn to when you need a last minute gift, the yarn store is closed and you just want to cast-on. The kind of patterns handed down like treasured family recipes through word-of-mouth, or in scribbled short-hand on dog-eared index cards, and often knit from memory. Knitworthy 9 is my way of sharing that collection with you: my favourite ways to knit classic accessories, the ones I’ve knit hundreds of times and whose basic architecture underpins many of my most popular designs.
You won’t waste any time deciphering notes or filling in the gaps in directions: each pattern includes clear instructions and done-for-you numbers for multiple sizes and yarn weights. Enjoy the soothing nature of simple stitch patterns, or play with colours and stitch patterns on a foundation that lets you focus on the creativity. Either way you’ll be able to cast-on with confidence.
Knitworthy 9 includes 6 patterns for classic accessories all written for multiple sizes and yarn weights. Each pattern in the collection is also available to purchase individually.

Your knitting time is precious, save it for the truly Knitworthy. Every collection includes a range of projects, with the goal of making it easy to match a pattern to your recipient’s taste, the time you have to spend on it, and your stash. We choose a theme with each release that embodies the spirit of our gift knitting that season.
Each Knitworthy Collection was originally released as a pattern subscription in the run up to the holiday period, with the patterns themselves remaining a mystery before their release each week. Each is now available as a complete collection, and all of the patterns individually if you prefer. It's worth noting that if you like more than 3 patterns in a collection you'll save by buying the collection rather than individual patterns!
