A pretty, delicate shawl worked from the bottom up.
The Tresna shawl comes in two sizes, giving the option of two different styles. The smaller, one skein size, is perfect as a quick gift; the ideal size for wrapping neatly around your neck and tucking into a jacket or coat. The larger size uses two skeins and knits up as more of a generously sized wrap that you can drape stylishly around your shoulders for warmth and comfort.
The lace and cable patterned edging is worked sideways first, and then stitches are picked up along one edge for the centre. Yarn overs worked along the edge make picking up stitches easy. The centre is worked in towards the centre top, and shaped with both decreases at the edges and short row wedges. The short rows create a very shallow crescent shape that's easy to wear as a scarf or wrap.

Unblocked the edging measures approx 4 ½" / 11.5cm at widest point. The bottom border plus 2 repeats measures approx 3 ½" / 9cm
Now available in two sizes, the original small version can be made with just one skein, while the larger version gives more fabric to cosy up in.
