A rectangular wrap and a crescent shawl, both featuring the same architectural cable and lace pattern. The dimensionality of the stitch pattern makes the most of the structured BFL laceweight yarn and looks good (but not identical) on both sides.
View A, the wrap, is worked from end to end with lace at each end that can be blocked into points.
View B, the shawl, is worked bottom up with shaping incorporated into the border pattern. The ribbed columns at the top of the chart continue into the centre, decreasing together as short row wedges are worked to create the shallow shape. The centre stitches are joined with kitchener stitch.
