Learn to knit brioche on a small, manageable project! The Northwind headband is worked in brioche stitch, worked flat. The headband begins and ends with a stockinette tube. To complete the project you'll twist this tube and graft the ends together. The brioche stitch fans out on either side, almost like a bow.
24 sts and 27 rows = 4” / 10cm in st st in the rnd with smaller needle.
13 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10cm in brioche st on larger needle.
Available in 6 sizes from baby to adult x-large.

US 8 / 5mm 24” / 60cm or longer circular for working magic loop (2 circulars or dpns can also be used but if using dpns sts will need to be arranged onto 2 needles before and after brioche section).
US 10¾ / 7mm straights or circular for working back and forth in rows.
